Hopefully the end result is lower prices/more data at the end overall.


Mobile data is not a regulated wholesale service so there is no reason for them to investigate. 

Demanding Vodafone or Telecom do something with mobile data pricing would be a bit like telling Coke to drop the price of 600ml bottles because it's a rip off being more expensive than a 1.5l bottle.

I personally don't believe our mobile data pricing is bad. We're not the cheapest or the most expensive in the the world. The biggest issue is people who want caps in excess of ~6GB are penalised considerably and pricing for low use under 1GB could be cheaper.
