I have done an isolation test, still the same thing. Could it be my modem? that the only thing i haven't tried.

im using a linksys WAG325N

Hi, put your address into the following link, what does it say regarding if you are on a cabinet or not and when that cabinet came into service. If this has recently happened (or since your speed went to pot) then its a pretty good chance you are suffering effects of midspan injection, ie the cabinet is interfereing with your LLU signal from the exchange.

If this is the case then you need to ask Orcon to move you to a Wholesale connection.

I have been with Orcon for 2 years, but im not sure when the speed had actually slowed down, as i only started downloading again this month.

Hi, the bottom line is that you are in a cabineted area yet on a LLU connection, this will not work, as I said call Orcon, point it out to them and ask for it to be sorted, your line speed should go to 10-15Mb/s depending on how far you are from the cabinet.
