Pilot does not indicate bandplan.

drop of DSL usage would reduce crosstalk indeed.

Woke up to this pleasant surprise this morning. Two weeks out from getting fibre too!

I've had a lot less errors on my line since upgrading to the 7490 from the 7390.

Nice!

What were your sync rates previously?  Also, how far are you from the cabinet?

Dinsdale/Hamilton area.

500m to cabinet, but I was told by a tech that I'm around 800m because of loops (i.e not wired direct).

Wow, that's a pretty decent jump!

Was there much / any difference in sync rate after moving to the 7490?

Nope, just the error rate dropped.

Now the most interesting part for me there, Your dslam is set to 100/50!

@SamF remember 998 has more specturm in Downstream and a lower snr on 8b so a jump is to be expected.

The jump in upstream is good to see aswell though!

Sure, I was just surprised at the size of the increase!

I had seen them, but we haven't seen much in the way of lower speed connections being upgraded, so it's good to see a ~20mbit increase in downstream connect speed on a longer line!
