attewell: I was getting 22mb down for last 2 years.. as of yesterday it bumped to 33mb

What has Chorus done?



you would have to check your spectrum graph to be sure, but you may have been moved to the 998 band plan

My DSLAM is limited to 100mbit. Wonder how they decide what to limit it to.

you have upstream (green) right at the beginning of the bits :) thats 998

Yep, the move to 998 is right there. Obviously your on a borderline connection, but overall, not bad.


@Psilan was your resync INP turning on? im seeing a common trait here....


seems to be the case, Broadcom linecards are limited to 100/50 while Ikanos line cards are 70/30. A post from a chorus fellow did imply this was going to be the case awhile back...

So far, i have noticed broadcoms on average managing higher speeds, although there are too many variables to seriously make a conclusion like that. could just be chance.
