Jase2985: the distance is based on your attenuation value. if you think you live 130m away and its telling you its about 700 (that would be a perfect copper cable based on your attenuation) then you dont have great connection to the cabinet.

I live about 60m from my cabinet, the page above says 450m, so i dont have a super good connection, but its good enough to get me 62/10 on a 17a profile

Stop k, I live 20m away and get 48/10....

your attenuation would indicate far longer mind you..

I followed the cable itself given i know where it runs. CoffeeBaron came for the adventure with me. Its either because i was on the VF trial and rebooted the modem 200 times or its using lead cables.

rebooting that often wouldnt be too good for DLM..

mikenzb: Also would like to add-on to 1+ for Snap. I'm not going to repeat what hio77 & sidefx said above but you get the idea. The fritz box that also comes with Snap connections is also wonderful to play around with.

Whats the wifi range and strength on the fritz like? The router I have now has poor range.

I has the 7340. No issues. Good range. But dont forget WiFi isnt a cell tower in your office.

yeah, as i said, im more than happy with my 7390 (although 2.4ghz is a bit busy here.. but thats not the routers fault!)

but others have moaned about the wireless being not so great.

Might just buy the DrayTek Vigor DV130, it was talked about in another thread and sounds decent. Then just buy a powerline extender since wifi on the PS4 sucks.

I think its time to call your ISP and complain about slow speed and demand a credit for lack of service.

solaybro please get your VDSL before getting a modem or decide who you want to go with and weigh up the options.
