Macuser: Even in peak times, anything that I download from apple and microsoft...game planet..is blazing fast. 300+.
Im used to the traffic management now, and there are a few ways to make it less noticable:
1. Download Managers 2. Another program made by 'speedbit' is a video download accelerator for places like youtube. So youtube videos actually load in under 3 days. 3. Just remember, you are the scum of the internet in your isps eyes. You are burning their data, which costs them money. Have some evil satisfaction in that.
But then there is the many other people who see "Unlimited" and just complain about the service because they don't know how to take advantage of it.
Gameplanet is usually the place I go to check my speeds, their servers just seem to give you as much bandwidth as you can take, Christmas last year I was getting 750KBPS + I was stoked (that was mainly because no one but me was on the internet in the whole world at the time)
Usually i'm 550KBPS+
iTunes was fast when it first came out, now its slow like a dog which annoys me (1Mb ~)
You are on a budget plan, its cheaper for a reason.... its budget!
$50 a month is NOT cheap. And when i get top speeds of 25kb/s i feel like I have the right to complain.
$50 a month for unlimited data is cheap, you can't expect this plan to offer the same speeds as normal plans, otherwise everyone would have shifted to go large!
No one is forcing you to stay on Go Large, you can always switch ISP's or change plans.
