Good review - gave enough information to make a good comparison and allow someone to make a decision on which plan they might like to choose (I'm thinking about it at the moment).

I am absolutely astounded that someone has put this much effort into an article.

This has to be one of the most comprehensive pieces I have seen in a long time!

Kudos Steve, keep it up!

I think MF might need to put you on the pay role ;)

sansom: Yes, an excellent article Steve.

In fact, one greedy customer bought over 100 512MB bundles in one month!

That's a heck of a bill to pay for, I don't think it was greed that came over that user, as much as it was not being educated :P

Surely they could have spent less than $3000 by joining a plan, then canceling it after finishing with it lol.

I thought Vodafone would be crying out for a few customers likethat :P

Good tech info on the network states, but as mentioned you're missing two key parts:

1. the 20-33% discount on topups (that fact alone makes XT prepay by far the best all-round deal in the country right now)
2. the XT basic data plans - 20MB, 120MB, 240MB. $18 for 240MB is actually reasonably decent when you take 33% off it!

Really enjoyed reading this Steve,
Well thought out, practical applications and presentation for everyone to understand and let the people that read it make up there own minds.

You really do come across as an impartial observer and that adds a lot of credibility to your reviews and also you?re moderating here.

Nice Job

Very Very nice work, It's a bloody good read.

And glad you pointed out the speed differential regarding the different devices. As no matter how good a network is, it still requires the user equipment to play the game.

My views are mine and don't necessarily reflect that of my employer.
