Batman: Is there a bedroom in that direction?

Pretty sure he said thumping noise - not humping noise.

Sure. One goes on predominantly in a fibre box - so we are told. The other involves a non-fibre box.

I thought he said from the direction of the box. At night. Every night. My bad.

Thumping noise is from a physical source. Humping noise can be physical and/or vocal. Very different - and once you’ve heard ‘em, you won’t confuse ’em.

The noise still happens. Have only heard it maybe twice so far this year.

still don’t know was is causing it. There is nothing around the External fibre box that would account for the noise.

?noise coming from somewhere else and being amplified by the box shell?? Like hollow box of a musical instrument ?

Thermal expansion has been mentioned, Do you have a tin roof

There can be noise from the sun coming off it.

Nope, the roof is pressed metal tiles.

I guess this will forever remain a mystery.

Pressed metal tiles certainly do expand and contract with the heat of the sun, and can make quite a racket in the process.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.
