No, I'm sure he said Xtra but he could have been mistaken (I never heard an official word on it either) - and this was a long, long time ago :)

Did anything end up happening with this? I don't think Jason has ever said anything about it going any further - and I got the impression this was a "Russell project".

i certainly haven't heard much on it.

 

 

 

nothing has really changed on the Chorus side, it's still priced at a price point that it really makes no sense.

 

the other thing to think about is as intact ont numbers increase, you really have to ask is the minor cost differences worth it compared to the delay (install required), upfront hardware etc.

Fibre unbunding was always a stupid idea without a viable business case. It's hardly surprising nothing has happened.

The $200 p/m fiber feeder charge made unbundling cost prohibitive- unless you got all of the customers off that feeder
