Hello,

I'm building a mid range gaming mini-itx.

I'm planning to use an i5 3570 CPU, I don't have interest in overclocking.

The case is a BitFenix Prodigy so its very roomy for standard sized coolers.

Will the stock cooler be fine with games or is it prudent to invest in a something with a bigger heatsink, etc.

Thanks in advance.

As long as you have no intention of over clocking your system the Stock intel cooler will be more than fine.

Default bios settings may have the fan running continuously at 100% speed. Set it to run at minimum speed when the CPU is cool and only ramp up when it needs it.
