I am wanting to purchase a couple of USB 3.0 external drive docks capable of supporting 2.5" hard drives. We use these all the time at work for testing, transferring and repairing corrupt directories. I have tried Vantec, Unitek and Icy Dock however none of these have been that reliable.

They are used multiple times a day so I need something hard wearing and have no problem spending a few hundred dollars on something decent.

If anyone has any recommendations that would be appreciated.

I've only got Vantec products and have had them for years without fail, but then again just because mine haven't failed (yet) doesn't mean they don't. Personally I would recommend you Vantec but any brand will do as long as it suits your requirements, I would recommend you get hard drive docks like these:

That design I feel is the most "robust" otherwise if you don't want to go the dock route you can also use these: http://www.vantecusa.com/en/product/view_detail/470
