I installed the GFX card and the nividia drivers then restarted my pc and the gfx went like this:

can anyone help me out

Tried using drivers from the Palit site and not the Nvidia ones?

XFX cards seem to only work with the offical XFX drivers and certain random Nvidia releases, could be something like that

i installed the nvidia one but then downloaded the vendors driver but didn't remove the previous nvidia one

On XP

Control panel > Add/remove programs

Vista

Control panel > Programs and features

Select the drivers then click uninstall

Sounds like a possible memory corruption, you may want to get that card looked at

ok its fine when no drivers are installed but windows automatically installs sum if none are detected and thats when sh*t hits the fan

ohh and the old onboard settings in the bios wouldn't be affecting it by any chance would it?
