hi guys. I'm about to get a controller for my PC and games, since I already parked my gaming PC in the living room.

should I stick with the xbox 360, or get the xbox one controller? or are there better alternatives?

im still using xbox 360 controllers.

I may upgrade to the xbox one controller when the wireless receiver becomes available.    And I will buy a steam controller to see how well they work.

PS4 apparently work well, but last time I tried it (a year ago, so has been a while) I had connection issues which made it less than ideal.

I like how you can just unclick the 360 battery to turn the controller off.

Agreed - I am sticking with 360 controllers. They have great game support.. and i actually do like the fact that I can change the batteries.. I ended up buying quite a few of those dick smith 40 pack batteries though. But they are ok. I will wait for xBox One wireless support

I also just use a 360 controller, though not much - mainly just for star citizen because trying to play that with a mouse + keyboard is like trying to beat bloodborne using a rock band guitar. :D

I use a 360 controller with a rechargable pack on it. The annoying real microsoft ones dont seem to charge on anything but a PC buit the cheap ebay ones I got have a cable with a DC plug that goes into the pack itself to charge.

Good idea,  If I ever need more challenge to bloodborne I'll try that.

If you google it there's some guy who already did it and broadcast the whole thing over twitch or something ;-)
