After googling this to death thought I'd post here, I am looking for a case that is 18cm wide and 43cm high. Any help is appreciated.

The closest fit I can find is the LIAN-LI PC-V360B FULL ALUMINIUM MICRO-ATX CASE - 18cm wide, 39cm high

Excellent quality with a price to match.

you can also just cut the feet off on this case by the looks of it and shave off a CM or so

All amazing cases, but needs to be 18 x 43. If it was say 45/46 and cutting the feet off makes it 43 that could be an option. I can find cases that are close, Gigabyte do some at 18 x 42 but don't think that will work. I'm replacing the back panel of the case with something custom however the panel is 18 x 43.

Why do you need such an exact - and unusual - size?

Replacing a back panel depends upon the design of the case just as much as its size.
I have never seen a case with a replaceable back panel.

A drill and it's replaceable, found a couple of cases overseas but will cost too much to ship. Did find a Gigabyte Luxo X10 which would be perfect but is listed under legacy cases on their site and isn't on Pricespy. :-/

Cooltek make one the size your looking for couldn't find it here but it's forsale on Amazon.co.uk

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooltek-CT-K-Evolution-Case-Black/dp/B004ZN81WW but the seller won't ship to NZ

I can find lots on pricespy with the right width of 18cm but they all seem to be either to short or to tall

The other thing you could look at is drawing up a template and ask around a few engineering firms to see if they'll make it for you

Thanks Athlonite, it's a frustrating exercise :-/ There are few in UK but shipping is very high. Might email Gigabyte and see what they come up with.

Bought a case through Just Laptops, paid $10 more than the other websites but they were the only ones who had a case in stock. Went with the Bitfenix Outlaw 438 x 180 x 478 mm, .8 too high but I've been told should be okay. Now the fun in seeing if everything fits.
