Kingston SODIMM 4GB DDR4 2133MHz Non-ECC CL15 1.2V KVR21S15S8/4

Or,

Corsair CMSO4GX4M1A2133C15 4GB DDR4-2133 CL15 1.2V SO-DIMM

As far as I can tell, the specs are identical. Although, they don't exactly list the same specs which confuses me a bit.

But I don't get why the Corsair is so much more expensive.

We use Kingston RAM in client PCs almost exclusively when adding RAM to HP and other brands of computers. As long as we buy the module listed for the machine on their web site, we've never had an issue that I can think of in the last 10 years.

The advice above is more relevant but anyway ; ). The tech specs are adequate but incomplete so difficult to start a compare directly. Tech specs aside, the Corsair has those dustcover heatspreader things and lifetime warranty. Probably not necessary but that is what part of the additional will be. Imho Corsair has reached premium brand status for a while that adds a few dollars additional.

Intel Nuc 6i5syh -- both are on the compatibility list although the corsair is intel tested and the kingston is customer tested....

I tear my hair out selecting memory haha -- in this case the listed specs are not totally comparable.

Usually I just google recommendations but the memory and nuc model are quite new and i couldn't find much info at all.

In general use i'm not going to notice any difference so leaning toward the kingston.

By the way, when Intel says 'reported by our customers' it is very likely a large retailer or implementor tested, then supporting several hundred or thousand in this configuration.
