I'm now on my second Logitech MX Master mouse. Very good design, very poor build quality.

The first failed after 2 months and the replacement after about 8 - now won't free spin the centre wheel, only click.

I don't find Apple's mice at all comfortable to use so they are out. I am right handed and had an injury to that wrist about 18 months ago so a really comfortable design is essential; I have found the MX comfortable (far more so than the Apple ones I had before).

Gaming mice (good ones) have been recommended to me for Photoshop use as they have a lot of programmable buttons but I am not sure how ergonomic they would be.

Vertical ones like Evoluent look comfortable but not sure whether they would be too weird!

Must be wireless. Must work on Mac.

Any suggestions/recommendations? Price largely irrelevant within reason.

Dammit I just bought a MX master! Its a shame Logitechs G series gaming software isn't available for Mac otherwise I would have a G700s or something that has programmable buttons.

It's a good mouse; I may have just had bad luck and YMMV.

The best of the gaming ones (not just Logitech) seem to be wired not wireless and since I do not game much on my Mac I would rather not take up one of the limited number of ports with a mouse cable. It has 4 USB ports and unless you want to plug the mouse into a hub, that hardly leaves a lot for external drives, card readers and so on. I wish Apple put at least 10 USB ports in the iMac.

I use vertical mice on and off depending on how my RSI is doing. Ive used the following ones.

I dont really use the 3m one anymore. I find it cumbersome and clunky to use.

The Anker is probably my favorite for the best feel, and the minicute is a good all round unit with nice features like weights you can add/remove. Both of these have DPI settings which helps with getting accuracy.

It can be a bit weird to use these mice at first and probably takes about 3 days to get completely comfortable with the change.

I got both of these from Amazon as they are much cheaper than buying locally.
