Dont know if all the McDonalds have it, but our local one now has  "jukebox" system, whereby using a touchscreen, you can search for a music track (or video in this case) and it queues it up to play after the current playing song. If noone selects anything, I think it just plays a random track.

Its by AMS but a commercial product, so not a cheap option for a home user.

So is there anything out there consumer based for Windows or Android that does a similar thing ?

Would be great for parties where people would like to hear a particular song, with this they can just walk up and queue it up.

Seems to be plenty of jukebox software but none (that Ive found so far) that allows user based queues, just generic playlists.

I use MediaMonkey as my go-to music player, and occasionally as a jukebox.

It has a cover-flow that works reasonably well.

In Jukebox mode (Auto-DJ), you can have it play certain genres, favourites ( via a star-rating syetm), and I think a random selection of most frequently played.

Visualisations, skinning, etc supported.
