I don't know if is in the right forum?

I have a Intel NUC BOXNUC6CAYH Mini Computer Intel Celeron J3455 Quad core which I use as a TV box for he likes of BBCi player its handy to download and watch later with (dns4me).
But I have noticed a difference in the graphics are not that good since I have had my cataracts done.
I also have a HP ProBook 4520s hooked up to the TV which is a lot better graphics for viewing content. Would I be better off getting an NUC with an i5 the same as the 4520s, as Like the quiet operation of the NUC with no fan noise.

Sorry, there is no simple answer. In what way are the graphics "not that good"?

There are several possibilities such as font scaling, hardware offloading or lack thereof, mismatched refresh rates, or software configuration.

Shouldn't really be any difference as the Intel HD Graphics 500 in the NUC can support up to 4k resolution.
It does, however, share the system RAM so how much RAM is in your NUC?

Make sure you also have the Intel® Display Optimizer installed

As others have mentioned the graphics adaptor in the NUC is more than capable of driving your TV.

Could you be more specific about the shortcomings of the image when viewed via the NUC? Not as sharp? Too much contrast? Too little contrast? Colours dull or too vibrant? Jerky video?

What service are you viewing, BBC iPlayer? Using the same web browser on both to access the video?

Using WiFi or Ethernet cable?

8GB I think that's the max but has got another slot !

8GB should be fine then. If you only had 2 or 4GB then I'd say upgrade.
