Hi guys,

I am in the process of upgrading my dad's computer and was wondering what RAM do I need to use on his Asus P4S333-VM motherboard - I have seen different websites quoting DDR200, DR266, DDR333, DDR400 RAM - which one would be the best?

I would like to up grade it for him to 1gig

Thanks

From http://www.memorystock.com/memory/ASUSP4S333VM.html :
Memory Upgrade for ASUS P4S333-VM Motherboards, the ASUS P4S333-VM Motherboards takes the DDR200/266 SDRAM DIMMs. Memory Type. You can upgrade your ASUS P4S333-VM Motherboards to up to a maximum of 2.0 GB Memory, the system has 2 sockets to install Memory.  For best Motherboards performance use the maximum amount of allowed Memory per slot for your  Motherboards.

In theory DDR400 would work as well (as it usually drops back in speed if needed and is easier to come across now) but no guarantees.

Thanks for that mate -pardon my ignorance but I'm assuming this will work? (2X of these) VALUERAM DDR 512MB PC2100  512MB, DDR 266MHZ, CL2.5, DIMM 184-pin.
