Windows 10 has taskbar right click options
- cascade windows
- show windows stacked
- show windows side by side

Windows 11 does not. Is there a way to get those back or an equivalent for W11?

The replacement is snap zones. The max for snap zones appears to be six windows.

Even if it was possible to increase snap zones it would not work for arranging an arbitrary number of windows in the available screen real-estate imo.

Any suggestions without going 3rd party?

Do a search for "Right click  for Windows 11"   there are a couple of registary keys you can run that enable and disable this feature

If you can't  find them I'll drop them on to a Dropbox link .

There are many out of date articles around. I've tried one or two that did not seem to be relevant and did not work for taskbar right-click options. Feel free to link to an article you trust.

ExplorerPatcher does what you want, as well as a bunch of other similar things.

Work machine so I prefer no 3rd party software if I can avoid it. At some point I might try that somewhere else and see if it provides a registry key or a rundll call I can use standalone.

I just copied the command line option from this -

No guarantee it'll work for you. Not sure you'll get the windowing options you wanted, but it brings back the full right click options list.

I am aware there are a number of registry hacks out there that can do the same thing, but from my own experience, these get broken on a near weekly basis whenever Windows does an update of any sort.
