Right, it is time for a new PC for me.

I have decided to go for an i7 processor with 6GB RAM (moving to 64bit Windows 7 later this year)

CPU: Intel Core i7 930 - http://www.pp.co.nz/products.php?pp_id=AA21278
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 - http://www.pp.co.nz/products.php?pp_id=AA20301
RAM: Corsair XMS3 6GB Triple Channel - http://www.pp.co.nz/products.php?pp_id=AA19347

I already have a 8800GT graphics card, case, PSU, and hard drives so it is just a refresh of the main parts.

I have tossed up between the UD7 and UD3 motherboards, although the UD7 is more expensive I like the idea of implementing tri SLI later on down the track

What are your guys thoughts on the above?  Any suggestions?

The prices listed on the above sites are not the cheapest that I can get, I just like the layout of the information.

Hi there, build looks good.
Just one point, the x58a-ud3r supports tri crossfire / tri sli with double slot cards.
(it even comes with a tri - sli bridge)

True, but when Tri SLI is enabled you lose USB 3.0 on the UD3 board (USB 3 uses one of the PCIe channels)

I think I might go with the UD7, it gets good reviews online.  It is a bit more expensive but I can afford it.

Unless anyone else has any suggestions/changes?
