hi im wanting to know what video card or cards will go well with mabey i will get one video card now and another later im not sure any advice?

If you get an ATI 4000 series graphics card i believe you will be able to "hybrid crossfire" it with your onboard graphics creating more performance.
(research compatibility first!) if you can hybrid crossfire it id say you should go with a HD4850 for price/performance.
That will do all you want with ease.
edit: your best best to get a good priced 4850 will be trademe.

ok thanks for that but would you say that is beter to do that or just run a 1gb video card on its own to free up the ram, also would 1gb be better than to 512mb crossfire mode

The amount of memory a card has dosent really come into factor untill your trying to run games at a really big resolution (1920 +) with ultra high graphics/ AA enabled.
The speed of the card is far more important.
a 512mb 4850 card alone would blitz any other card in its price range no matter if its 1gb or 512mb

really the best thing to do would be to ditch the motherboard with onboard graphics all together and go with another single better card. you could get a cheaper mboard with the same features minus onboard graphics, or could spend the same $ on a mboard with better features minus onboard graphics

its all payed for and on its way i tryd to do the best i could for not much $

Kingston 4GB DDR3-1333 Memory
West Digital 500GB SATA2 Hard Drive
SATA 24x Speed Optical DVD Writer
Foxconn TLA-566 Style Tower ATX PC Case
Windows 7 Home Premuim 64bit

all at a very good price under $1000 just to get me started than i will upgrade to faster memory and video card and proberly a beter power suply to run it all.

if you could save some money, go for ati 5870 v2. what is the resulotion of your monitor?

By the time you have the money even better and perhaps cheaper cards will be available so taking steps is not a bad thing:)

4850 is a decent card, better than the 5570, however it's dated.

Tough choice. Go with 2x 4850 for more grunt I guess.

ok thanks for that the only thing stopping me is $ ican spend around $250 $300 on a video card for now so mabey get one now and another to match later or just get to lower spec now

ok so i am going to go with 2x Gigabyte HD4850 512MB DDR3 a bit over my budget but i think it will be worth it. does anyone agree lol i havent built a pc in about 5 years and alot has changed lol

Despite having a single XFX HD5770 myself, I would tend to agree that two 4850's would be the way to go since you can make advantage of crossfire (assuming your mobo supports it).
