I've been using Chrome for a while now on Windows and Linux and I like it a lot. I only use another browser if I strike a site I want to see / use and Chrome - for whatever reason - can't do it.
I'd noticed my Chrome seemed to be gradually slowing down as time passed. Maybe it was just my expectations became jaded.....but eventually it became obvious things were slower.
I took a punt and wiped my browser cache. There were about 2,500 files in there totalling about 950MB. Almost a GB!!
With that monkey off Chrome's back, the browser leapt into action was as fast as ever.
So it wouldn't hurt to wipe the cache every now and again. This has nothing to do with cookies, so all your stored logins and other info aren't touched. Just the cache.
