Regs: i'm not buying any more monitors until the new stocks of touch enabled ones start hitting the market as a result of the Windows 8 release.... when they arrive in bulk, non-touch panels might drop a little

I'd love to see pricing for a 27" IPS 1440p with touch :-) #Windows8TheNextVista

So, it looks like a decent 27" costs around the $1000 mark for one with a resolution that makes the extra size worthwhile (apart from the Catleap monitors mentioned earlier).

I've got a 27" 1440p PC Bank monitor. Cost like $300 USD including shipping and I paid no tax on it. Amazing quality....

Think there was a slightly cheaper dell on PB's site when I was looking and trying to get work to get one for the new computer. Need it to do cad with 4 viewports and be able to see anything.

Yeah, I cant recall if it was 799 or 899 but it was something that I got work thinking about so it wasnt too excessive.

It looks like it's $899 ex GST, so $1033 incl. GST. Cheaper than buying directly from Dell, which seems a little odd.

Wow what a difference. I had a 26" 1900x1200 and i thought that was nice. The new one is amazing.
Games look great.

Would be hard to go back to xxxx x 1200 or 1080.
