Yes, but you will need to turn on the PC and setup sharing of the HDD across your network....

Im guessing I would need to "accept" this on my pc? And as my monitor doesn't work I wont be able to accept. lol.

Does your TV have a VGA input, if so you could use that, 

Otherwise can you borrow a monitor from someone for a hour or so to set is up, 

If all else fails, go to trademe and find the nearest auction for a CRT monitor, you should be able to pick one up for peanuts,

Have 3 TVs in my house so hopefully one of them will :). Cheers mate will look into it :)
