pinkbellbird: I tried using Easus to remove any possible partition that may be on it. it didnt work. just wiped the existing 27.64gb & then made the card un-labelled & un-allocated.
thats what it does over & over.
Il get returning this card monday. Will report back the out-come from NZ Distributor.
If you remove a partition then you also remove any logical drives in that partition.
I gather that you didn't find 32GB of unallocated space or a second partition.
You don't say if you've checked that the other computers (W7 or W8.1) are SDXC capable. Are they? It sounds like they aren't and you've simply removed the SDXC formatting.
I don't think that you can't restore the formatting on the phone. So you can fix it by finding a Windows or Mac OSX computer that is SDXC capable so you can run the SD formatter program to format the card correctly.
