CutCutCut:joker97:lagbort: I was running 10 preview up until a couple of days ago on my laptop (that only gets used as a movie device in my room).
All was going swimmingly until the latest update, where I now have 80-100% disk usage constantly (from multiple processes), broken graphics drivers (even after multiple reinstalls) and unstable connections to network shares (dropping and reconnecting every ~5 mins).
So for now I have chucked a copy of Linux Mint on just to have a play around until the consumer preview of 10 is available. (not recommended btw, Mint seems to be even more useless than the broken version of 10 and somehow slower...).
Up until the last update though I was really happy with 10, fast, responsive and with some of the 8.1 niggles removed or smoothed over. Will definitely be upgrading my main PC day 1.
hmm i just realised that ... my disk is constantly being accessed 100% of the time! (didn't notice it as i have an SSD ...)
Well that doesn't sound promising
checked today, it's not doing it anymore. disk usage 0.0% ... so must have been indexing the other day, or virus scanning.
