+1 for a 240GB or larger SSD. I don't game, and out PC at home has a 120GB SSD with Windows 10, basic apps and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, and it's nearly full. Have another 1TB spinning drive for files.

I'm looking at a new build later this year, and will likley for for a 240GB or maybe a 500GB SSD.

I already have a decent enough GFX card for my needs but need a new MB, CPU and RAM. I reckon I can do a decent i7, 16GB DDR4 RAM and a new MB for under AU$1,000.

Just an update. I got quotations from PB, CL and Mighty Ape and the cost difference comes to about $100. The cheapest came in at $1999 and the most expensive build is $2065.

All about service then.

Cheers.

I would create a list on pricespy - also setup price alerts so you can get notified on sales on any of the parts
eg http://pricespy.co.nz/list.php?l=185265&view=m

I'm liking the ITX form factor, plenty powerful enough for most anything, though no SLI. Will you be overclocking? If no, then no need for a Z170 mobo (check H170)
You could go M.2 for Boot drive instead of 2.5inch (My M.2 hides underneath the mobo)
check alternatives to the RAM - check out Kingston range, might be some savings to be had (I got http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820178869&cm_re=anarchy-_-20-178-869-_-Product )
+1 on 16GB RAM
