re 3 year warranties on monitors or notebook displays
make sure its a ZERO PIXEL warranty, for the full 3 years.
Some 'warranties' wont cover you if a few pixels go bad
If you cant get a 3year warranty on a PC, buy another brand, or dont buy the cheapies.
After 3 years , just replace any parts if they fail. As long as it takes generic parts (ie no SFF) , anything except the Motherboard should only be
$100 or less to replace(parts cost)
And paid for extended warranties themselves can be scams. With the company covering the warranty repair sometimes doing anything theycan
to try & avoid actual repairs/payouts.
There is the option of Genuine Manufactures extended Warranty (eg warranty extension bought from HP), thats a better option if you must have one.
