Perhaps it's some x64 incompatibility because x86 XP plays it fine, it's just ungodly laggy, it's like the graphics card is actually a ATI Rage rebranded as a HD4670 x_X.
Will try a fresh format on a WD Green AV when it arrives with x86 Windows 7.
In the mean time, does anyone else have any suggestions other than codecs, CPU and GFX card drivers?
