Hi there thank you guys for your replies,

Im about to give up with this frustrating task of installin win7 on SCSI drive

i got the setup right and i got the drivers but win7 aborts half way install
that is why i thought of creating a image identical copy of the drive or clone from my ATA drive to the SCSI and the program goes through with message successful talk.... however drive does not boot even if is selected at bios as master and first boot drive....

cheers,

Andy

Try using ShadowProtect - download the trial edition from www.storagecraft.com.au

This bit of software is very powerful, and will clone and allow hardware independence restore so you can load the drivers needed for windows to boot successfully.

Never has failed me!!
