Just check your browser isn't blocking javascript etc. Might stop the required clicky bits from displaying ;-)

I may be that. I'm using FF and sometimes it asks me to allow certain things but I forget the exact wording.

LOL spent of of the day on this. Unbelievable! I'll get someone I know in the UK and already using iTunes to grab it and email it over.

ADKM: Hi James,

Thanks for all the info... been reading a bit about AAC on wiki. m4a format I cannot use disectly (I thought Adobe Audition supported AAC but it doesn't support m4a).
However I found a free in line convertor m4a-wav so that'll do. There were some pugins that claimed to work but they didn't for me.

Just one last thing, is iTunes regional ? This person in the US said they couldn't get anything from iTunes UK. The album I want is at

wherever that is. Hopefully I can access it. No Google here for anything but a search engine., and Yes, using a windows based PC.

If you buy a physical CD from Amazon, then you have the MP3s available for download as well (for most CD)s. I prefer to get CDs and rip to ALAC or FLAC, and then convert to lower fidelity formats when necessary.

Yes of course (and the artwork). But if you only want the music a digital download is instant and saves postage. Or would be if it worked a bit better... us here in NZ get a very raw deal with this.
On a related note, has anyone managed to get a plugin that will work with .m4a in Adobe Audition ?

You miss my point. If you buy the CD from Amazon the tracks are available to download "immediately". Like buying from iTunes but you then have the opportunity of making a higher fidelity later.

On the Adobe product, I stay away from them as much as possible. Largest infection vector on most systems :-)

I use the iTunes store for getting odd single music tracks mainly. Anyway you can convert them after purchase & download to MP3 and some other formats.

You just set the format that you want in the Import Settings of the iTunes player, this is what determines what the AAC/m4a or whatever format is converted to. ie right click on the track in iTunes player and click on "Create MP3 version".

I have all my collection in iTunes, mainly cuz it's cool integration with my Classic iPod player....man I've spent a bit of time re-sorting things and changing over from my library being in Media Player etc which tends to screw with the files (I've learnt to have your own iTunes copy of the files as Windows & iTunes tend to fight each other with album artists etc...this is actually the default setting I think).

Yes wish you could get higher quality versions even if you had to pay a tad more...hoping it's a future thing they will bring in for prior purchases.
