Not to pile on or anything but XMP is certainly supported by modern AMD platforms. Depending on manufacturers it can be called different things in the bios eg. DOCP.

End of the day memory is memory. If it can be set at a certain frequency and timings on one platform then the memory is capable on all platforms barring the ability of the memory controller and signalling capability of the motherboard. XMP is just a settings profile for convenience, you can adjust everything manually if your board allows it. XMP however ONLY has settings for ram frequency, timings and dram voltage. Other changes like IMC voltage or Ryzen infinity fabric clock are done by the motherboard automatically, or in some cases not at all. This is why when trying to get 3800MHz clock you need to raise SoC voltage to compensate..

This is the main reason you will see Intel platforms able to use RAM kits over 4GHz. The IMC-IF coupling that most ryzen chips share in each gen chip can’t really do over 3600-3800 unless you get lucky or are an enthusiast overclocker. You can decouple it but will lose performance.
