Delete cookies?! Are you insane?!
lxsw20: The scary part is Google provide major funding to Mozilla. Who knows what would happen if that went away.

I like how all those users have ad blocking as their main feature. Meanwhile, last month was the lowest revenue month in years for us.
Maybe it's time to actually talk about geekzones financial position if it's poor, theres never been transparency other than comments like what you just posted.
Like we know 15+ years ago revenue was enough to pay a FTE job and ~10 years ago it no longer was(iirc). I prefer when a site just says we need 100/200eur/mo etc to pay for dedi/vps for hosting and has a donation bar everyone can see. No ones demanding to know how much you charge for paid reviews etc. Set a monthly goal you think is fair and see how people respond.
It's tough, the sites primarily a forum in a time when forums have mostly died. GPForums barely made 20 years and was moved onto tapatalk when the founder had enough, maybe thats geekzones future and let them handle hosting/monitizing it.
We don't do paid reviews. And moving to Tapatalk is a shitty experience.

How do I buy you a coffee?
I see that on some sites, a quick way to make a financial contribution.
I dont know what costs are involved, and if the baristas take a cut.
But might be an option for here????

Thanks, and a subscription is the way to go (chees @cddt for the link). @kiwifidget you are already a subscriber, so that's enough, thanks for your support.
There are some things happening in the background, possibly this week, that will hep reduced a little of the costs. I will make an annoncement in due course.

I am also a subscriber but there is nothing to prevent you from making an additional donation from time to time if you feel Geekzone has extra value for you.

Personally I allow ads even though am a life subscriber. I hardly notice them now as they are so unobtrusive and if it supports GZ's survival, why not. The ads are quiet banner ads and not those irritating flashy, drop over what you are reading ones. There have even been a few quite good leads from time to time when it reads my mind.
Plenty of empty real estate on the page to add a 'buy me a coffee' button for when people are feeling generous.

I have not heard of this. I am aware of at least one longstanding bug that Firefox has not addressed.
Anyone else notice video stuttering playing YouTube videos on Firefox?
I have been using Firefox for years but not as my main driver. I only started using containers this week. I had known about them for ages, just never got around to checking them out.
They are so good, I have a lot of different accounts that I switch between when working with my different clients and containers has been amazing for dealing with this.
