Try setting power TO FULL .. when i'm working. Or go in and pause the task then un pause it.It may force fetching from another server
Or perhaps on FULL gives higher priority?
doing pretty good anyway

Just increased the VM running Rosetta@home from four to sixteen cores now.
Still can't see new tasks on FAH...

pfft. show off.
I have phones/tablets around here that could be running BOINC, but the app is out of date and there don't seem to be any units served to it anyway? Might try an older device with an earlier version of android.
People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.
Keep calm, and carry on posting.

No matter where you go, there you are.
I only have an old laptop to run it on at the moment, but the same as you Stu, possible 4-5 mobiles I could run it on. I have left one running overnight and there are no units being served. I will leave it another 24 hours, then chuck it back in the drawer.
Just fired up for the day, 1 hour 45 to go on current gpu project. I will post back here if it doesnt fetch another after its done.
One thing i'm using 1.1.1.1 as my dns? not sure if that will make difference in which update server FAHuses for WU distribution.

Im getting transfer failed on the uploads on everything its done over the day or so, building up a lot of them.
Try playing in advanced control pausing them all. Then clicking Finish?
stuck uploading or downloading or waiting workunits?
Well, my Folding@home client got a new work unit at last.
Anyway, noticed very poor performance on my VM running Rosetta@home (CPU only) with average CPU usage around 20% - very low on a 16 virtual core VM. Looking at the Boinc client more than half of the tasks were "Waiting for memory" despite having 8 GB on this VM and only about 3 GB being used.
I tested making it 12 GB and still the same behaviour. I then remembered this VM is configured with dynamic memory... I then changed it to be 8 GB static allocated, and upon restart the VM CPU usage went up to 90% now, with all Rosetta@home threads running.
