I had to tone down my Rosetta computing. Turns out my poor UPS started complaining as I was maxing it out - also my server is rather busy with load currently!

Not to worry. I feel I’ve done at-least something to contribute.

My gtx 980 gives around 530000 point per day in FAH that's at 24x7. But i'm only running it around 15 hours per day.

8-10 WU on GPU per 24 hours around that

Do you have slider all the way to full? I would expect the 1060 to be a little better than a 980? maybe the lack of cuda cores holds it back?

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

I see the Rosetta application has gone from version 4.08 to 4.12. The newer version work units seems to take a little less time to process, at least for me. I haven't updated the Boinc client at all - mines running in a container - and I've got both versions processing together at once.

You use BOINC to run the work units. Download BOINC for Windows and install it. Then you select the projects you want to joining - look in the Biology and Medicine section for Rosetta@home and enter your R@H credentials.
