Hi All

Have encountered following situation with several Treo 650 users in Exchange 2003 environment using wireless Exchange Activesync.

When syncing wirelessly email and calendar sync occurs for all items except Unread emails.
I have sent a test email to user , it appears in Outlook on his desktop.
Syncs from Treo but doesn't appear, syncs several times more , still no mail.
Opens mail on PC & closes it. Syncs again and read email syncs to Treo.

Doesn't appear to be any settings on treo that could provide this result , suspect something server / It environment side.

Any ideas much appreciated ?

When you say "wireless Exchange ActiveSync" you mean it can synchronise directly to the server, not through a program (like Hotsync), right?

Tried a brand new device (or a hard reset) for a change? Are you running Exchange Server SP2? Tried help on palm.com website for something similar?

I would check that you have the latest version of versamail - there has been several updates for the unlocled gsm version since its release, and the Telecom version had just had an update released last month.

Thanks for the feedback.

Issue affected MS devices as well as Treo.

MS KB pointed in right direction -  Antivirus solution had been changed and required some tweaking to scanning config to resolve.

All go now - One more for the experience file.

Great stuff. Good to know it's working again... Some AV solutions are really a pain...
