I was wondering what everybody uses to locate local businesses and search for businesses. I had a copy of Local Scout installed but it had nothing for Wellington, at least nothing in the CBD.

I miss being able to fire up Google Maps and search for almost anything and find it. When using Internet Explorer heading to the URL http://maps.google.com/ throws a 404.

I suppose it will just take time to have content added. Right now I search 'pharmacy' from my phone and get one result in Wellington. 332 results on Google Maps.

There is a Yellow Pages app in the Market called Yellow NZ with hooks into Nokia maps on my Lumia 800. Doing your search for Pharmacy in Wellington returns 5-6 pages of results.

That seems odd, just did a search using Nokia Maps on my E7 and got 9 pharmacy results here in Hamilton, sure not an exhaustive list, but based on that I'd expect more than one result in Wellington.

Hmm, interesting. I searched 'pharmacy' again today and received twenty results.
