I have a PPC6700 with Sony Ericsson HBH610a(DSP) Bluetooth headset. I also have a AX2 as well and have same issue/

Problem:

About 50% of the people I speak to via the bluetooth headsets tell me my voice is faint, I generally can hear them fine.

Potential Solutions:

Find a Bluetooth Headset that offers higher volume

Change Pocket PC phones, could this be issue with PPC6700 and MS Bluetooth stack or just a phone issue

Is there a tested registry hack that might increase the volume on the PPC6700 and/or Bluetooth?

I am also looking at the new Jawbone Bluetooth headset as well.

I would appreciate any suggestions on how others have delt with this issue.

Hi There

I currently have the Apache (PPC-6700) I have used a number of headsets with this and when I had the Harrier, I am currently using Blueants X3 micro visit their website here

My father also has the same headset with his Nokia, volumes great also I can pair it with 3 devices... quick charging and small form factor, you can charge the headset 3 ways, DC Wall Charger, USB charger and Car Charger all come with headset...

Yes, the Blueant is a great little headset. And it's available in North America as well.

Thank You for the advice on the Blueant.

I have ordered a Jawbone www.jawbone.com, it is available from Cingular in US, there are a number of them overpriced on eBay.

It has a very high level voice cancelling technology, company was funded by DARPA.

I still have the question regarding any registry hack on the volume. There is a volume entry in the registry.
