Has anyone else had issues with Windows Media Player 10 on the pocket PC.

On my player, the songs seem to be choppy for the first 10sec to first 30 sec.

I have reloaded all the songs, they play fine on Windows Media Player on my laptop, I just have the choppy issue on PPC.

Any suggestion, ideally I would like to resolve without having a clear storage.

Are you playing this from content from the miniSD card? If so, perhaps you need a faster one? Also, media consumes lots of memory and CPU. Make sure there is plenty of RAM (for execution, not the flash storage) available, by closing any other program in use at the time. either MagicButton (free) or Spb Pocket Plus help with this.

I do have a regular miniSD Card (Sandisk), is it possble the card is failing as well?

I do close programs and use InClose to make sure all is closed.

The music was not an issue until about a 2 weeks ago.

I had my PPC6700 replaced about a month ago.

Is there any way, I could go to Bell to try on one of their units to eliminate the PDA as issue.

Is there any way to test miniSD card?

Any other suggestions.

You could try using this mini SD card on another Pocket PC, but it could potentially indicate that either the card is faulty, or those Pocket PC don't have enough power to decode.

Talking about this, is this the same music, or is this some new content? Perhaps you are using a higher rate that is not supported or requires too much CPU power?

Back to the card, if you test a new card on your Pocket PC and it works, then you know it is the card. If you test the current card on another Pocket PC and it fails it doesn't prove that the card is faulty, but if it plays ok then it proves your Pocket PC may have something wrong.

In any case, perhaps a hard reset just in case, for testing, would be also recommended...
