I have a Palm T3 and a Bluetooth adapter BT-200U. For synchronization I use a software provided by Widcomm Inc. This adapter supports services: Virtual Serial Port, Dial-Up Networking, Fax, File Transfer, Information Exchange, Information Synchronization and Network Access.
Also I have a S55 Siemens phone and in “My Bluetooth Places” I see all the icons corresponding to these services.
I was tried to configure the Bluetooth service "File transfer", for my PalmT3, but I received the message "Device Palm T3 does not support service 'File transfer'". I tried with another service but the message was the same. The PalmT3 device support only two services, "HotSync" and "OBEX Object Push".
My question is: Palm Tungsten T3 support the services provided by BT-200U adapter or not?

Thank you.

The T3 will connect to your computer to use the Serial connection (for Hotsync and Internet Access sharing, as explained in our Bluetooth Guides.

The Palm does not offer a service, but it'll accept some Object Exchange functionality. For example you can drag and drop a file into the icon corresponding to your Palm within the My Bluetooth Places window, and that will be transferred. If the file is a .prc your Palm will ask if you want to install it, like any program when transferred via infrared for example.
