Hi

I have just bought my daughter a 2nd hand HTC 8s.  Should be ideal for the her usage.  But I will  need to store photos to the micro SD.  Been binging  it and seems some people have had trouble getting the phone to recognise the micro SD.

I have a 4GB Kingston Micro Sd from awhile back... not sure what is on it...   anyone recommend  the best process to get this up and going.  Should I reformat it first  and if so what is the best way to do this.

Or, shoul I just pop in and it will all sort itself out.

 - thanks

Reformat it using a Windows machine in Windows Explorer by right clicking on card and selecting 'format'. Turn off the phone. Insert the micro sd card. Turn the phone back on again and it will notify you that it has detected a new micro sd card and do you want to store all your photos/music/videos etc on it. Say yes and you are good to go.

Do whatever you want to do man.
