Hi,

Hoping someone can help me here. I have an iPaq 2210 and a Sony-Ericsson T610 that I'm trying to synch appointments via Bluetooth.

The problem that is occurring is the following:

Say I have an appointment @ 8:30am on the 22/4/2004 when I use BT to push the appointment from the iPAQ to the T610 it ends up being stored in the phone as an appoinment @ 12:30pm on the 21/4/2004. If I use infrared to push the appointment from the iPAQ to the T610 it gets recorded at the correct day and time. Any ideas?

Also does anyone know how to send a batch of appointments to the phone from the iPAQ rather than individually?

Thanks,
TracerB

I haven't seen this problem, and I don't have a T610 handy to test (will try later on a friend's), but have you checked if the Timezone in your iPAQ is correct? Tap Start, Settings. change to System tab and tap Clock. In the Time tab you'll see a drop drown list with all timezones. Make sure this is correct.

On your phone I think there's an option to synchronise time with your network. Perhaps this is giving the wrong time in terms of GMT+ or GMT-? The T39m and T68i certainly have this option.

Doh! Thanks for the quick response and your right. I stupidly somehow had the phone set to -10GMT and not +10GMT. Fixed it up and it worked like a charm. Kind of funny though that the IR push put it at the correct time and date.

Now all I need to do is know how to automatically synch the phone and iPAQ and I'll be laughing!
