I'm looking at getting a Lumia 635 for Dad for Christmas, and I notice that Noel Leemings have both Spark and Vodafone flavours of this handset, for $299, and $199 respectively.

Dad is currently on Spark prepaid, and I know he's keen to stay with Spark.

Is there a good reason not to buy the cheaper Vodafone variant, and just swap out his existing Spark SIM?

Outstanding, thanks for that.

I tried to talk with Spark about getting them to match it using their live chat feature on spark.co.nz but had no joy, so it looks like I'll get the Vodafone branded one.
