My Blackberry Q5 got the notification of 10.3.1.1565 being available today. I'm not sure if it's carrier, region or some other way dependent on other factors but it's good that it's finally out.

I just checked (thanks to your post) and can also see 10.3.1.1565.  It is a BIG update (1002MB) and won't let me download over mobile, only WiFi.

I have a Z10 and it has been acting up a lot lately, getting hot, short battery life (like 2-3 hours), I cannot turn on WiFi easily, and when I do I cannot turn it off.  Hopefully a firmware upgrade will resolve some of these issues and breath new life into this device.

Failing this, perhaps its time to upgrade (Z30, Passport or iPhone 6+ ???)

Lol, I've the iphone 6 not the plus, a passport and z30, depending on your budget of course, the z30 would be a good choice. In saying that the passport is going for about 700 odd on TM. Definitely worth a look. iOS just doesn't seem to tickle my fancy. I like a lot of the improvements made, now that 8.3 beta is out but ...

How do you find the Z30, both before and after the 10.3 update?  And how do you find the Passport's size in comparison to the Z30?

At this minute the passport is the daily driver, takes a while to get used to. The z30 is whitelisted for testing ... so that's just it, a test device. But I'd suggest, go for either if you're spoiled by the hub. If not, then go other platform lol.

Yup, the hub is by far the best part of BB.  I was also keen to get BES running (I run my own mail server already) and have maximum security over the wire, but it looks with BES 10.2 this applies to all devices (Android, iOS and even WinPhone) as well as BB.
