Hi all,

I'm going to the Nokiaworld Conference in Amsterdam (cheers for that Nokia!) in a couple of days.

I'm going to be running a Vox blog while I'm there and hopefully uploading lots of pictures/video/commentary (depending on WLAN availability etc, no way I'm doing it on Vodafone roaming charges!).

Its all something of an experiment, its my first trip to Europe and I'm only going to take my phone with me (loaded with Amsterdam maps, maybe a city guide) and do everything using that device (navigate, take photo's/video, upload to the blog). It could of course all go terribly wrong, but then it wouldn't be interesting if there wasn't the possibility of abject failure right? Wink

I was wondering what burning questions people had with regard to Nokia/Mobile technology etc that I could seek answers for while I'm there?

EDIT: Apologies for posting in two places, I thought that the people who frequent the Symbian section may have a slightly different bent on this than others...

Amsterdam is a nice city and it's now Saturday morning here - I have another three days before I leave it. You can walk a lot around town, all very flat - good entertainment, etc.

Bad idea using the device only - unless you work for Vodafone New Zealand and they will be paying the $10/MB roaming bill for you. Otherwise you can use and enjoy.

Vodafone Netherlands coverage is good, and I have only been connected to them on my handset. Vodafone Netherlands also gave to everyone attending the Mobius conference a data only SIM card, and I have been using it constantly on my laptop with the XU870 card - good HSDPA coverage and speeds around here.

Well I just heard that Nokia is giving the us 24 hour WiFi at the hotel, so no worries about roaming charges!

Sounds like a wonderful place, I've heard nothing but good things about it.

Also heard that I will have a chance to try out N95 8GB, N810 Internet Tablet, N81 and even the new N82. Really looking forward to it!

If anyones been checking the blog please accept my humble apologies. Theres too many people sharing the WiFi connection for it to be practicable to upload video. I'll mass upload everything upon return.

I must admit that I am a little disappointed not to have a live blog
