Sad... I'm not sure the ROM size is a problem on the h4150 series for example, and citing 3rd party applications is not exactly the best reason in the world - most applications delivered with HP iPAQ models are already updated to Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition. Otherwise, what applications are they offering with the new models?

I don't see why they would have a problem reducing the size of the ROM. They didn't have one when they made the 1910, 1940/45 and the 2200 series. I think they're just using it as an excuse so you'll by their next generation of PDA's
