Just saw this. Looks like their release is imminent (and about time too!). I will be buying one as soon as humanly possible regardless of cost, so for anyone looking for confirmation from a community member that these are working with N-Series devices I will keep you all posted.

Can someone please say whether if I were to put a microSD card inside its full size SD adapter, and slide it into my laptops card reader, would it work? Or if you can't say yes/no, does it work all/sometimes/none of the time? Thanks.

Most of the Sandisk ones come with adaptors, so I would think they work - I use mine in a USB adaptor and it works fine (no experience with card readers though).

Regarding the thread topic - I'm currently awaiting an email back from them regarding ballpark release dates.

Well, just ordered mine from bmcdigital, who say they have it in stock - Class 4 too according to their website. Will update everyone later this week (providing the postal service performs normally) regarding its N82 (and HTC Touch Pro) compatibility.

Let you all know if it works in an Xperia in a couple of weeks ;]

Quick question, how much was shipping? if reasonable I'll grab one for my "mobility kit" tiny usb flash stick on my keyring, using this with the old class (4) 8GB cards was faster than the other normal two flach drives I tried plus it retains use when retired from primary use whereas old flash drives usually go in drawers. My old 8GB will now head into my Digital camera and the second will go into the eeepc as a linux bood card.

When I do get it, i'll report on other Symbian/winmob phone support too.

I just ordered two, to go in the N82s my partner and I use.

They charge 4 pounds to ship here. Within an hour of placing the order, I received an e-mail advising the cards had been shipped. Pretty impressive.

Actually it turns out it's 8 pounds 90 shipping...they have an accessibility problem with their shipping drop-down menu so I just had to pay a bit more.

Well, my first one has arrived - the one from BMC Digital (via their online ebay store). Pictured in the auction as Class 4, is a Class 2 card. Loaded the card with 10gb of music, with the card in my Touch Pro (had to as I couldn't find my USB card reader, much faster in-phone transfer times for the TP - must be almost as fast as the card reader). Music player autorefreshs, only took around 5 minutes - again much faster than the N82 from other users reports. So far no difference in phone operation. Will post back once I've had a chance to try it in the N82.

hmmm, I bought 2 8GB cards which were pictured and described as class-6 and were actually class-4, is this a common practice?

I'll wait for a local supplier, then it's just easier if a dispute comes to hand, would be interesting to see how it stacks up to a common usb memory storage. my Class-4 8GB microSDhc in the micro travellite reader is faster than friends standard usb memory stick.
