Voice Command includes:

- Meeting announcements
- Lookup contact details
- Call contact by name (if Pocket PC Phone Edition)
- Control Windows Media Player Mobile
- Application launcher

All this without training (no voice recording needed).

If you want more, than try Fonix VoiceCentral2. In addition to this, the software will read your e-mails, allow reply by dictating e-mails and more.

Voice command is a program that runs on Pocket PC and Pocket PC Phone Edition. Windows Mobile is the brand for the mobile platform developed by Microsoft. There are Pocket PC (a PDA), Pocket PC Phone Edition (a PDA with phone functions) and Smartphone (a phone with some PDA functions).

The main difference between Pocket PC and Smartphone is the single-hand operation on Smartphone and touch screen on Pocket PC.

Palm is another type of PDA running a different OS, by PalmSource. Palm devices include palmOne Treo, palmOne Tungsten, Sony Clie and others...

Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition and Smartphone devices come in GPRS and CDMA versions. Check our review section for some of these.

What will be the recommended voice application for O2 XDA II to be able to read, reply, delete emails for a car while driving scenario?

i've tried Fonix VoiceCentral 2 and it works really well on PPC2003 but badly on Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC phone ed.

www.equivox.uk.com exist but none of the emails work. Does the company still exist? Where can i get a new version of VOXit Mailer for trial?

MS Voice Command 1.5 has "Read emails" command but not as robust as the Fonix VoiceCentral 2.

Any other recommendations? Thanks

I user Fonix Voice Central on my Pocket PC Phone Edition - it seems to work ok... What's the problem on yours?

We should really have a new topic, since this is probably not related to the original question on this thread...

In this article

http://www.windowsitpro.com/Windows/Article/ArticleID/43504/43504.html

the author said Voice Command has "Read email" to check email. Anyone successfully tried "Read Email" in Voice Command?
