Does anyone know of other turn by turn mapping software that works on the E71 other than nokia maps?

Garmin looks the business, handy for when I'm in Oz.

Compass looks ok, but Garmin fits the bill that I can use it without needing data. $10/mb roaming is murder.

Is there any reason why you dislike Nokia Maps? Haver you played with V3?

Just be aware while roaming that you'll still be paying roaming charges if you have A-GPS enabled. If you turn that off you'll have to wait for the device to get a fix every time, something that can take a long time if you're in poor GPS coverage.

Just put off by the subscription fees i guess.

Does anyone know an app that will map out your gps distance ontop of soemthing like google maps or google earth.

I'd love to be able to use it to map my runs as I do a lot of off road.

Ok been using my 7 day trial of nokia maps, and it is not too bad. Just cringing at the subby fees though. Will have to weigh that up against buying garmin.

Go Nokia Maps 3.0. Sure it's still in Beta, but far superior to anything else out there.

I've found Garmin XT w/ nzopengps maps are the best and right up to date, thanks to the team at nzopengps.
